What is inside
20 chapters, in the order the interviews tend to ask them:
- Components, templates and the component model
- Dependency injection and the injector hierarchy
- Signals, computed values and fine-grained reactivity
- RxJS streams, subjects and interop with signals
- Change detection, OnPush and marking for check
- Zoneless change detection and the scheduler
- Directives, host bindings and the directive composition API
- Content projection, queries and view encapsulation
- Lifecycle hooks, view init and destruction
- Reactive forms, typed controls and validation
- The router, route configuration and outlets
- Guards, resolvers and access control
- Lazy loading, standalone providers and deferrable views
- HttpClient, interceptors and request handling
- Resources, rxResource and asynchronous state
- State management at application scale
- Testing components, services and harnesses
- Profiling, deferring and runtime performance
- Server-side rendering, hydration and hybrid rendering
- Accessibility, ARIA and Angular's semantics
How the answers are built
Each chapter opens with the checklist the question is really testing. A few from this pack:
- The compiler lowers a template into a function of render instructions attached to the class as a static definition, not into an HTML string.
- Resolution walks the element injector tree upward, so the nearest provider wins and the level it is found at decides lifetime.
- Reading a signal inside a reactive context records a dependency, and only the signals actually read become dependencies.
- A cold observable runs its work once per subscriber, while a Subject multicasts a single execution to whoever is listening.
- A pass walks the view tree and re-evaluates template bindings; it does not diff the DOM the way a virtual DOM library does.
- A zoneless app is told something changed rather than discovering it, so notification is the whole mechanism.
Questions this pack covers
- What does the Angular compiler actually generate when it compiles a component template?
- When is a component template compiled, and is the compiled form cached anywhere at runtime?
- How does the injector hierarchy decide which provider wins?
- What exactly is an injection context at runtime?
- How does a signal know which consumers depend on it?
- Why are computed signals memoised instead of being recalculated on every read?
- Why is a cold observable different from a hot Subject?
- When do you need shareReplay, and what buffer size should you use?
Each one is answered in full in the pack, with the reasoning written out rather than a bullet list.
About this pack
- How many questions?
- 360, spread across 20 topics, written out in full across 292 pages.
- Do the answers just list keywords?
- No. Each answer is written as prose, because that is what you have to reproduce when someone asks you the question.
- How do I get it?
- Pay once and the PDF arrives by email immediately, with a signed download link.
- Can I get it refunded?
- Yes, if it is not what you expected. See the refund policy.
